Coming in February…
Over the past couple of months, my friend Doug and I have been doing some building and brainstorming around faith, church, and spiritual formation. Between the two of us, Doug and I have been coaching church planters, pastors, and mission-driven leaders for a few decades: hundreds of leaders by now. We don’t know it all, but we know some about how to engage this current cultural faith moment and also what to consider for the future of the faith in the U.S.
We’ll explore in depth, one of the primary movements of faith over the past 15-20 years…Deconstruction.
Deconstruction is a buzzword in today’s faith conversations, but what does it actually mean, and why is it so widespread? This upcoming series will explore the journey of deconstruction, from its roots in personal and institutional conflict to its role in shaping new theological streams and renewing faith communities. Over the next months, we will unpack the dynamics of deconstruction, its challenges, and how the church can respond with creativity, humility, and hope. Whether you're a pastor, a faith leader, or someone navigating your own spiritual questions, this series invites you into a deeper exploration of faith's evolving landscape.
